We are seeking for a reliable customer service personnel to join our team. Iberia Foods is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to transport goods to various customer locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities:** Safely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks) to deliver food products to grocery stores, restaurants, and other commercial clients within designated routes. Load and unload merchandise, ensuring accurate counts and proper handling to prevent damage. Verify delivery manifests against actual products loaded and delivered. Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery paperwork accurately. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance needs or mechanical problems. Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries. Job Qualifications:** High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL may be required depending on vehicle class and route). Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
