Delivery Driver – Full-Time & Part-Time Green Waves USA LLC is looking for reliable, motivated, and safety-focused team members to join our delivery team. As a Delivery Driver, you will safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle, deliver packages to homes and businesses, and provide professional customer service throughout your workday. Location 5266 Baxter Rd, Cherry Valley, IL 61016 Pay & Schedule $22.50 per hour Full-Time and Part-Time positions available Weekend availability required Approximate start time: 10:00 AM Shifts may be up to 10 hours per day Company vehicle provided Non-CDL position Paid training Paid overtime, where applicable Benefits Safety incentive bonus programs, if applicable Paid training Paid overtime Paid time off (PTO) Paid sick time Health insurance (full-time employees; waiting period applies) Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan 401(k) matching Maternity and parental leave Tuition reimbursement Flexible scheduling Basic Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 21 years old Be authorized to work in the United States Have a valid, unexpired, non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license Have a good driving record Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and verification Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening Maintain reliable attendance and report to scheduled shifts on time Be available to work weekends Delivery Driver Responsibilities Safely operate the assigned delivery vehicle Follow applicable safety standards, company policies, and local and state driving laws Complete required vehicle safety inspections Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good operating condition Load, organize, and prepare packages for delivery Deliver packages accurately and on time Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions Use a handheld/mobile device for GPS, routing, customer information, and delivery instructions Provide professional and courteous customer service Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, coworkers, and members of the public Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Assist other team members when needed Maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Perform other duties as assigned Essential Job Requirements Ability to safely handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs. as required for the position Ability to safely operate assigned delivery vans with a weight rating of up to 16,000 pounds at all times Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions Ability to maintain focus and attention to safety throughout the workday Timely report for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance Willingness to be a team player, and help others, work together and provide rescue assistance to other drivers if needed once the driver has completed his/her route for the shift Perform other duties as assigned Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers and the general public while delivering products to customers’ homes, retail, and business locations Customer Service & Communication Successful candidates should be able to: Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, coworkers, dispatchers, and managers Read and understand delivery information, instructions, and applicable traffic signs and signals Provide a positive customer experience Work professionally and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds Remain professional and solution-focused in a fast-paced work environment Work independently while also contributing to a team environment Join Our Team If you are dependable, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and enjoy working as part of a team , we encourage you to apply.
