Duties Safely operate our Van adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction. Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury. Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent service, answering questions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, and client communications to ensure seamless route execution. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and compliance. Organize merchandise for delivery, ensuring proper merchandising and presentation at each stop. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, automobile transportation, or heavy truck driving with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations for safe transportation. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and delivery totals accurately. Ability to build positive customer relationships through friendly service and professional demeanor. Organizational skills to manage schedules, paperwork, and route planning efficiently. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus for understanding product presentation needs.
