Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various delivery methods. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck and other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Follow assigned routes for deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at each stop. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience operating commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks, is highly desirable. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems is essential. Forklift certification is an advantage but not required; training may be provided. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
