Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver cakes across the Atlanta metro area from our bakery to various other bakeries. The ideal candidate will be punctual, professional, and committed to ensuring that our products arrive fresh and on time. Duties Deliver cakes promptly and safely throughout the Atlanta metro area from the bakery to designated locations. Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner, maintaining the integrity and quality of the products. Handle cakes with care to prevent damage during transportation. Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is well-maintained and presentable at all times. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Assist with loading and unloading cakes as needed, ensuring proper handling at all times. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not required. Excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to scheduled routes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Ability to lift and carry heavy items, including cakes, safely. Reliable transportation with adequate insurance coverage is preferred. This role is vital in ensuring our products reach customers in perfect condition while providing excellent service across the Atlanta metro area. Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week Work Location: In person
