Delivery Driver

Job Overview As a Delivery Driver, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and reliably while creating a positive experience for every customer. You’ll drive assigned routes, transport merchandise, and support sales through thoughtful product recommendations and store-ready presentation. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries and clear customer communication help clients receive the products they need and build confidence in their service experience. Duties Drive delivery routes and transport merchandise using appropriate vehicles, including commercial trucks when assigned. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving procedures. Load, unload, and handle products using safe lifting practices; perform heavy lifting as required. Communicate with clients about delivery details, address questions, and build strong customer relationships through attentive service. Support sales by identifying relevant upselling opportunities, sharing pricing information, and assisting with merchandising when needed. Qualifications Required: Valid driver’s license appropriate for assigned vehicles, safe driving habits, and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements. Required: Customer service, communication, organizational, and basic math skills; able to follow routes and complete delivery records accurately. Required: Ability to lift and move merchandise safely, including heavy items, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred: Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, automobile transportation, or route driving experience. Preferred: Retail store experience, sales, pricing, upselling, merchandising, and customer relationship-building experience.
