Job Overview MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CARGO VAN OR 16-FOOT BOX TRUCK We are looking for dependable delivery drivers for PEAK SEASON throughout the Houston, Texas area. heavy packages 50 pounds last mile e-commerce commercial residential, stops are close together, less than 5 to 10 miles apart PAY: $240–$300 per day PAYMENT: Weekly pay JOB TYPE: Full-time and part-time OPENINGS: 5–10 drivers REQUIREMENTS: Must have your own cargo van or 16-foot box truck. Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Able to load, unload, and safely deliver packages. Reliable attendance and clear communication. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and reliably from our location to customers. You’ll drive assigned routes, handle products with care, and create a positive customer experience at every stop. This role combines commercial driving, customer service, and practical sales support. The position is paid. Duties Drive delivery vehicles on assigned routes and follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety procedures. Load, unload, and transport products, using safe lifting practices when handling heavy items. Communicate clearly with clients about deliveries, timing, and product questions; build strong customer relationships through dependable service. Support sales through appropriate upselling, pricing assistance, and merchandising at retail locations. Keep delivery records organized, check orders for accuracy, and use basic math to verify quantities and transactions. Your impact: Safe, accurate deliveries help customers receive the products they need while building trust in the service. Skills Required: Valid authorization to drive the assigned vehicle and a safe driving record; commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Required: Customer service, communication, and client communication skills, with the ability to build positive customer relationships. Required: Basic math, organizational skills, and the ability to follow routes and delivery instructions. Required: Ability to lift and move products safely; familiarity with safe lifting practices is essential. Preferred: Retail store experience, sales, upselling, pricing, merchandising, automobile transportation, and route driving experience.
