Delivery Driver

Description: As Twin Valley Coffee continues to grow, our delivery operations have expanded to keep our cafes and communities fueled. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring seamless logistics and product care across all TVC locations. This role is responsible for executing precise delivery schedules, coordinating across departments, and keeping our delivery fleet in peak operational condition. Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and deliver cold brew orders, retail inventory, and supplies to designated TVC cafes and locations according to strict schedules. Organize cafe cold boxes and storage areas precisely to each Cafe Manager’s specifications. Maintain a valid driver’s license and an exemplary safe driving record, safely navigating standard traffic and occasional, inclement weather with a safety-first mindset. Partner with the Production Director to clean, sanitize, and maintain delivery vehicles, including coordinating scheduled shop maintenance for our van and box truck. Clean and sanitize work areas, containers, equipment, and processing zones to maintain high quality-control standards. Immediately inform the Production Director regarding equipment malfunctions, low supply levels, or ordering needs. Resolve minor on-site store issues independently or escalate larger hurdles to supervisors. Keep accurate records of production, storage, and deliveries Follow all safety precautions in the Production Facility, on the road, and in cafes or other work locations. Participate in coffee education programs (provided by Twin Valley Coffee or outside sources) to consistently build your product knowledge and refine your craft. Give full attention to coworkers and cafe teams, taking time to understand their needs, ask clarifying questions, and deliver solution-oriented service. Requirements: Skills and Abilities Comfortable and skilled in operating a box truck, delivery van, and potentially other large commercial vehicles. Exceptionally self-motivated with the strong time-management skills required to handle frequent multi-location deliveries efficiently. Able to adapt accordingly to the needs of the production schedule, including being physically present, or reachable, to resolve issues. Naturally people-focused, possessing a positive attitude and a strong ability to relate well with coworkers, cafe staff, and customers. Physical Requirements Regularly handling and moving objects over 50 lbs. Manual dexterity in hands and fingers. Capable of driving multiple hours a day. Must be able to pass vision tests if requested. General physical activities such as standing or sitting for long periods of time, stooping, lifting, and walking Occasional exposure to the elements during loading/unloading; ability to safely execute deliveries during brief or minor inclement weather conditions.
