About the Role The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering commercial turf equipment, parts, supplies, and related products to customers and job sites throughout the area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, interacting with customers, and working in a hands-on environment. The successful candidate will represent Green Industries professionally while ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. A CDL is not required for this position. However, the position requires compliance with applicable DOT requirements. Compensation & Benefits Base Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Status: Full-Time (Hourly with Overtime opportunities) Key Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with applicable DOT regulations and company policies Deliver commercial turf equipment, parts, supplies, and other products to customers and job sites Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials safely Inspect loads and ensure products are properly secured before transportation Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and required driver documentation Obtain customer signatures and verify deliveries for accuracy Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries, arrival times, and equipment Assist customers with safely receiving and unloading equipment when appropriate Report vehicle maintenance issues, damage, accidents, or safety concerns promptly Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained Assist with loading and organizing equipment and inventory at the shop or warehouse when not making deliveries Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations Provide excellent customer service and represent Green Industries professionally at every delivery Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record CDL is not required Ability to meet applicable DOT driver requirements Previous delivery, commercial driving, landscaping, equipment, or warehouse experience is a plus Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and secure equipment and materials Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices Dependable, punctual, and professional Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule Comfortable using basic technology for delivery documentation and communication Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly High school diploma or equivalent preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities during peak season Efficiency incentive bonus Paid holidays Paid vacation, sick, and personal days Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) / SIMPLE IRA plan with company matching Ongoing training and development Company vehicle provided for work-related deliveries Stable, year-round employment Positive, team-oriented work environment Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday, in person Our business experiences increased demand during the landscaping season, and occasional weekend work or extended hours may be required during peak periods. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The driver must be able to safely load and unload equipment and materials and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds .
