Position Details Pay: $23.25 per hour Schedule: Approximately 8–10 hour shifts Location: 6823 Industrial Park Rd, Bath, NY 14810 Employment Type: Full/Part time Weekend availability are required based on operational needs Responsibilities Safely operate company vans, to deliver goods according to assigned routes while adhering strictly to traffic regulations. Lift, carry, and handle packages safely. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal safety and compliance with commercial driving regulations. Use a handheld device/app to navigate and complete deliveries Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with recipients, addressing questions professionally, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting team members with manual handling tasks. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency throughout your shift. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, including automobile transportation or commercial truck driving. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, measurements, and basic accounting tasks related to sales transactions. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Demonstrated ability in retail store experience or merchandising to understand product placement and presentation. Knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure compliance during all driving activities. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout shifts. Organizational skills for route planning, delivery scheduling, and record keeping. Experience Must be at least 21 years old Prior delivery driver experience in a commercial setting is highly preferred; familiarity with route driving and courier services will be advantageous. Ability to work in various weather conditions Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices is essential for success in this role.
