Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving of products. The Delivery Driver will operate a pick up truck and may also be required to use forklifts and pallet jacks. Responsibilities Safely drive a pick up truck for deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate delivery routes efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required, demonstrating proficient driving skills. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Ability to handle the physical demands of the position. Qualifications Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
