Delivery Driver

Job Summary As a Delivery Driver, you’ll transport products safely and reliably while creating a positive customer experience. You’ll plan and follow routes, communicate clearly with clients, and help ensure merchandise arrives in good condition. This role combines driving, customer service, and hands-on product handling. Duties Drive assigned routes and transport merchandise using an appropriate vehicle, following applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe driving practices. Load, unload, and move products using safe lifting practices; the role may require heavy lifting. Communicate with clients about deliveries, address questions professionally, and build strong customer relationships. Support sales through appropriate upselling, pricing guidance, and helpful product recommendations. Assist with merchandising and automobile transportation tasks as needed, and keep delivery activities organized. Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers receive their products in good condition and on schedule. Qualifications Required: Valid driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle and a safe driving record; commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Required: Customer service, communication, and organizational skills, including clear client communication and route planning. Required: Basic math skills for checking orders, quantities, and pricing; broader math ability is an asset. Preferred: Retail store experience, sales, upselling, merchandising, or customer relationship-building experience. Ability to handle physical work, including heavy lifting, and consistently use safe lifting practices.
