Delivery Driver

Job Overview As a Delivery Driver, you’ll transport orders safely and reliably while creating a positive experience for customers. You’ll plan and follow routes, handle products with care, and communicate clearly with clients and your team. This role combines driving, customer service, and sales support, with opportunities to use your retail and merchandising experience. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes and complete deliveries using safe commercial driving practices; follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Load, unload, and transport products, using safe lifting practices when handling heavy items. Communicate with clients about deliveries, resolve routine service questions, and build strong customer relationships. Support sales through appropriate upselling, pricing guidance, and product merchandising. Keep delivery activities organized and use basic math to verify orders and related details. Requirements Valid driving qualifications required for the assigned vehicle; commercial truck driving or automobile transportation experience is preferred. Demonstrated safe driving, route driving, and commercial driving skills. Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills. Basic math skills, including the ability to check quantities and understand pricing. Ability to lift heavy items safely. Retail store experience, sales, upselling, merchandising, customer relationship building, and organizational skills are valued.
