FedEx Ground Delivery Driver Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Seasonal Position: Delivery Driver Industry: Package Delivery / Logistics Location: Rapid City, SD and surrounding areas We are looking for dependable, hardworking Delivery Drivers to join our team servicing FedEx Ground routes. Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and business customers while providing professional customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle. Load and organize packages for daily delivery routes. Deliver packages to homes and businesses in a timely manner. Pick up packages from homes and businesses in a timely manner. Follow assigned routes and delivery procedures. Provide courteous and professional customer service. Complete required delivery scans and electronic documentation. Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle. Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding route issues, delays, or delivery concerns. Work efficiently in varying weather and traffic conditions. Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. Able to pass a background check. Able to pass a comprehensive drug test. Able to obtain TSA clearance Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, or logistics experience is preferred but not required. Ability to safely lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs with assistance as needed. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Comfortable using a smartphone or handheld delivery device. Must be able to pass required background and driving-record checks. Must be able to meet all applicable employment and transportation requirements. Schedule Full-time position. Typical start times are in the morning. Weekend availability is required. Routes generally require several hours of driving, walking, and package handling each day. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $180 to $250 per day. Paid training. Company-provided delivery vehicle.
