Delivery Driver

Job Overview As a Delivery Driver, you’ll bring products to customers safely and on schedule while creating a helpful, professional experience at every stop. You’ll plan and follow routes, handle merchandise with care, and support sales through product presentation and relevant upselling. This paid role combines driving, customer service, and physical work. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes and complete deliveries in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe driving practices. Load, unload, and transport products, using safe lifting practices when handling heavy items. Communicate clearly with clients about deliveries, timing, and product questions; build positive customer relationships. Support merchandising and automobile transportation tasks, and help maintain organized delivery and product records. Apply pricing information accurately and identify appropriate opportunities for sales and upselling. Requirements Demonstrated driving ability; commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience is preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills, with the ability to build customer relationships. Basic math skills for checking orders, quantities, and pricing; broader math skills are a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy products safely and follow safe lifting practices. Organizational skills and comfort with route driving are essential; retail store experience, merchandising, sales, and automobile transportation experience are preferred.
