Role Description The Delivery Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Cameron, NC, responsible for safely transporting packages and materials to designated locations. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading shipments, following assigned routes, adhering to delivery schedules, and verifying delivery information and documentation. The Delivery Driver will inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance needs, follow all traffic and company safety guidelines, and handle shipments according to specific instructions. The role also involves communicating professionally with customers and dispatch, providing updates on delivery status, and reporting any issues or delays. The Delivery Driver is expected to maintain a clean and organized vehicle and support operational efficiency throughout the delivery process. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and recipients. Ability to perform Forklift Operation or other material-handling tasks, where applicable and permitted. Experience in Training or mentoring team members on delivery procedures and safety practices. Background in Sales or client-facing roles, helpful for representing the company and supporting repeat business. Experience in Food & Beverage or similar fast-paced environments, demonstrating reliability and time management. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to meet company and insurance requirements. Good knowledge of local routes and basic navigation tools (GPS, maps, routing apps). Ability to lift and move packages safely, with attention to proper handling and care. Strong time management, attention to detail, and adherence to delivery instructions and schedules. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous delivery or logistics experience is an advantage.
