We are immediately hiring motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious delivery drivers to operate company vehicles and deliver packages across local residential and business routes. Previous experience driving box trucks, step vans, or working for delivery services like Amazon, UPS, DHL, or previous FedEx contractors is a major plus. Core Responsibilities Arrive on time at the Ashland FedEx terminal to load packages and organize your daily vehicle load. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections (checking fluid levels, etc.). Safely operate and maneuver company delivery vehicles along assigned routes using GPS navigation systems. Accurately scan, log, and handle package deliveries and pickups (averaging 80–150 stops per day depending on volume). Provide courteous, professional customer service while maintaining brand and safety standards. Driver Requirements & Qualifications Age: Must be at least 21 years of age. License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Experience: 1 year of work-related driving experience within the past 3 years preferred (e.g., local delivery, route driver, or courier). Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 75 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs using provided equipment (hand trucks), climbing stairs, and working in all weather conditions. Screenings: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana), a DOT physical exam, and a FedEx Ground criminal background check. Reliability: Must have dependable transportation to and from work, strong time management skills, and a "get-it-done" attitude.
