Delivery Driver — Part-Time About Us The Hemp Store is a locally owned, multi-location hemp dispensary dedicated to providing high-quality, full safety tested hemp-derived products and exceptional customer service. We pride ourselves on education, transparency, and creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment for every customer. Position Overview We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, organized, and comfortable working independently while providing friendly, professional service. You will use your own vehicle to deliver customer orders from one assigned store, follow delivery and identification procedures, and maintain accurate delivery time and mileage records. Duties Arrive at the store no later than 1 p.m. on scheduled delivery days Review and load orders, ensuring each order is complete and securely packaged Follow routes provided through Spoke and deliver orders safely and efficiently Provide friendly, professional service during every customer interaction Verify customers are 21 or older using valid government-issued photo identification Follow company delivery procedures; never leave orders unattended Communicate delays, delivery issues, or vehicle problems promptly Record expected and actual delivery minutes and miles in the weekly spreadsheet, including route notes when needed Return undelivered orders to the store and complete delivery closeout Follow all traffic laws, store policies, and compliance guidelines What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently and following assigned routes Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping habits Able to use smartphone navigation and delivery apps Delivery or customer service experience preferred, but not required Bonus (Not Required, but a Plus) Previous delivery experience Previous experience in hemp/cannabis retail Familiarity with Spoke or similar route-planning apps Requirements Must be 21 years or older Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance Smartphone with reliable service and navigation capabilities Ability to safely carry customer orders and enter and exit a vehicle throughout the route Availability beginning no later than 1 p.m. on scheduled delivery days; deliveries generally take place between 1 and 4 p.m., with occasional later completion This is a part-time position with hours that vary based on delivery demand. Although uncommon, some days may have no deliveries, and hours are not guaranteed. There are currently no Sunday deliveries.
