Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities and proper handling techniques. Build rapport with customers through friendly communication, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction during each interaction. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, invoices, and client communication records. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue. Follow merchandising standards to ensure products are presented attractively upon delivery at retail stores or client locations. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, automobile transportation, or heavy truck operation with a clean driving record. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory counts, and basic transaction processing. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure compliance during all driving activities. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising enhances your ability to manage product presentation.
