Job Summary The Delivery Specialist safely delivers cannabis orders to customers across the Bay Area, accurately and on time, in full compliance with California cannabis regulations and company procedures. As the face of NUG, the Delivery Specialist provides professional, friendly service at every stop. Duties Prepare for each shift: count and verify product inventory, and check out the vehicle, equipment and cash bank. Safely transport and deliver orders within an assigned zone, following all traffic laws. Verify customer age and identification in accordance with state regulations. Process payments accurately and provide correct change. Maintain accurate delivery records using company mobile apps. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and answer customer product questions. Follow all safety, security and compliance protocols without exception. Close out each shift: return the vehicle and equipment, restock inventory and reconcile payments. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations Basic math skills for pricing calculations and inventory management Experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Ability to lift heavy packages safely while following proper lifting practices Proven organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Knowledge of customer service principles to ensure positive client experiencesJoin us as a Delivery Driver and become an essential part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering quality products with enthusiasm! Drive for extended periods and walk to customer locations. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Qualifications 21 years of age or older. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. At least 1 year of customer service experience. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Ability to meet state cannabis industry eligibility requirements, including a background check. Preferred: experience in delivery, hospitality or retail, and familiarity with cannabis products.
