Delivery Driver

Overview As a Delivery Driver, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and reliably while creating a positive experience for customers. You’ll drive assigned routes, transport merchandise, and support sales through helpful service and product presentation. This role involves physical work, including lifting and moving items, and requires careful attention to road safety and delivery details. Responsibilities Drive delivery routes and transport automotive parts using provided company vehicles. Load, unload, and move auto parts using safe lifting practices; handle heavy items as required. Communicate with customers about deliveries, answer questions, and build strong customer relationships. Support merchandising and product presentation, and identify appropriate upselling opportunities. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and complete delivery tasks in an organized, dependable manner. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their purchases smoothly and confidently. Skills Required: Valid driving ability, strong communication and customer service skills, basic math, and organizational skills. Commercial driving or commercial truck driving experience is preferred; familiarity with route driving and automobile transportation is an asset. Pricing, sales, and upselling skills are helpful for supporting customer needs and business goals. Retail store experience, merchandising knowledge, and customer relationship-building skills are preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices.
