Delivery Driver

ZCM Transport Inc. FedEx Ground Contracted Service Provider POSITION IS BASED IN QUINCY, ILLINOIS We are seeking energetic and friendly individuals to add to our team. We are a very team-oriented company. Communication is key in our environment. Positions available are based out of Quincy, IL. Holiday Schedule: Saturday before Thanksgiving- December 24th We operate 6 days per week with a 5-day work schedule. Saturday rotation will be scheduled for all employees Uniforms are provided Duties: - Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers - Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as hand trucks - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher or supervisor - Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner - Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns Skills: - Experience as a van driver, box truck driver, or courier is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job - Ability to maneuver up to 150lbs while using proper equipment - Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards - Proficient in using navigation systems or maps to plan routes and navigate to destination Must be over the age of 21 Have a clean and clear driving record Missouri License minimum is Class E License (Chauffeurs License) Illinois License is based upon vehicle weight. No vehicles operated are above a C license Must be able to pass a DRUG TEST , this is regardless of state laws for substances such as marijuana. If you are using marijuana, THC gummies, CBD oil, these will all produce a POSITIVE result and will disqualify you from employment with FedEx without exception . Please be advised that random drug tests will be enforced throughout the duration of employment. (We work under federal DOT laws.) Must be able to pass a DOT Medical / Physical Exam.
