Job Overview 2 Major Logistics LLC is a growing transportation and logistics company seeking dependable, hardworking, and professional individuals to join our appliance delivery and installation teams. We specialize in providing safe, reliable, and professional delivery services directly to customers’ homes. Our teams are responsible for transporting, delivering, installing, and setting up household appliances while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Appliance installation is a required part of this position. All team members must be capable of performing assigned appliance installations safely, efficiently, and according to company procedures and applicable safety requirements. Key Responsibilities ● Safely operate a 26-foot box truck and follow assigned delivery routes (driver positions). ● Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances and household merchandise. ● Deliver and install household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other assigned products. ● Connect appliances to appropriate existing electrical, water, and drainage connections when authorized, trained, and qualified. ● Perform appliance assembly, leveling, positioning, and operational checks. ● Safely disconnect and remove existing appliances when required and authorized. ● Use appliance dollies, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment properly. ● Protect customers’ floors, walls, doorways, and property throughout the delivery and installation process. ● Follow manufacturer instructions, company safety standards, and customer requirements. ● Communicate professionally with customers and delivery partners. ● Complete assigned delivery routes and installation tasks accurately and efficiently. Qualifications & Requirements ● Ability and willingness to perform appliance installations is mandatory. ● Previous appliance delivery and installation experience strongly preferred. ● Ability to safely handle heavy appliances with proper equipment and team assistance. ● Familiarity with basic appliance connections, installation tools, and safety procedures. ● Previous experience operating a 26-foot box truck preferred for driver positions. ● Valid driver’s license required for drivers. ● Strong customer service and communication skills. ● Dependability, punctuality, and professionalism. ● Ability to work as part of a two-person delivery and installation team. ● Reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location. ● Willingness to follow all company policies, safety procedures, and contractual requirements. Mandatory Pre-Employment Screening All applicants must be willing to complete required pre-employment screening and onboarding procedures. ● Criminal Background Check: Required for all applicants. ● Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check: Required for all driver applicants. ● Employment Eligibility Verification: Required before employment begins. Employment offers are contingent upon satisfying applicable screening and onboarding requirements. Background screening results will be evaluated in accordance with applicable federal and Virginia laws. Criminal history does not automatically result in disqualification unless required by applicable law or contractual eligibility standards. Compensation & Schedule ● Starting Pay: $150 per day ● Payment Frequency: Weekly ● Work Schedule: Monday–Friday ● Service Area: Richmond, Virginia, and surrounding communities ● Positions: Delivery Drivers and Appliance Delivery Helpers Pay will comply with applicable minimum-wage and overtime requirements based on actual hours worked.
