We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and Seasonal Delivery Driver positions . Schedule We are currently hiring Full-Time and Seasonal Delivery Drivers . Full-Time Drivers Work just 4 days per week One scheduled day will be a weekend day Full-time position Additional hours may be available depending on business needs Seasonal Drivers Seasonal positions are available based on current delivery demand Schedule may vary based on business needs Weekend availability is required Seasonal drivers should be prepared for increased package volume during our busiest periods Compensation Starting Pay: $25.50 per hour Time and a half after 40 hours What You'll Do As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages throughout your assigned route. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering a wide variety of packages to homes, apartments, businesses, and other locations Following assigned routes and delivery schedules Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating a delivery vehicle Safely entering and exiting your delivery van throughout the day Following company regulations and safety standards Using delivery technology and navigation systems Completing required logs and reports Communicating with dispatch and management when assistance is needed Providing professional and respectful service to customers Keeping your delivery vehicle organized throughout your route This Is a Physically Active Job We want every applicant to understand what the job actually requires before joining our team. Drivers may get in and out of their van 200+ times during a shift . You should be prepared to: Walk for extended periods Climb stairs Bend, reach, lift, and carry packages repeatedly Lift packages weighing up to approximately 50 pounds Work outdoors in Colorado weather Maintain a steady and safe delivery pace throughout your shift Navigate apartments, neighborhoods, businesses, stairs, driveways, and other delivery locations Some days will be more challenging than others. There can be high package volumes, long routes, difficult apartment deliveries, traffic, snow, heat, cold, stairs, and other challenges that come with delivery work. During busy and seasonal periods, package volume may increase and the work can become even more demanding. We don't want to misrepresent that. At the same time, you'll have a management team that understands the demands of the job and wants its drivers to succeed. Job Requirements Applicants must: Be 21 years of age or older — no exceptions Have a valid driver's license Have a clean driving record Be available for weekend work Have excellent organization and time-management skills Be dependable and punctual Be comfortable working independently Be able to safely operate a delivery vehicle Be capable of performing physically demanding work throughout the shift Follow all company safety standards and procedures Maintain a positive and professional attitude Who Does Well at Pettus Logistics?
