Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using route driving skills, ensuring timely arrival at each destination. Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques, including safe lifting practices, to load and unload merchandise or supplies. Engage with customers professionally, building rapport through clear communication and excellent customer service. Conduct merchandising activities at retail stores, including product placement and inventory checks to support sales objectives. Upsell products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while organizing daily schedules for maximum efficiency.
