Job Overview Independent Contractor Delivery Driver (1099) Next Mile Delivery LLC is hiring reliable and motivated Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to join our delivery operation. Pay: $170–$340 per day, depending on assigned package volumePay Structure: $1.70 per package deliveredJob Type: Independent Contractor (1099)Pickup Location: Mechanicsburg, PADelivery Areas: 17022, 17502, 17547, 17550, and 17552 Responsibilities Arrive at the warehouse at the assigned start time. Scan and organize assigned packages before leaving the warehouse for delivery. Sorting, scanning, loading, and organizing packages are part of the delivery assignment and are included in the independent-contractor compensation structure. Safely load packages into your vehicle and prepare for the assigned route. Follow the assigned delivery route and delivery instructions. Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers. Update delivery status through the required delivery app. Complete assigned deliveries within the expected timeframe. Provide professional customer service. Maintain a reliable and professional work standard. Requirements Valid driver’s license Reliable personal vehicle Valid vehicle insurance Smartphone with reliable internet access Ability to lift and carry packages Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work independently Important Information This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers use their own vehicle and are responsible for their own fuel, maintenance, vehicle expenses, and applicable taxes. Package volume may vary by route and assignment. New drivers are welcome and may start with a smaller package assignment while becoming familiar with the operation. Please understand that warehouse preparation—including scanning, sorting, organizing, and loading packages—is part of the delivery assignment and should be completed before departing for the delivery route.
