Delivery Driver

Job Summary PIZZATA PIZZERIA & BIRRERIA is seeking a dependable, responsible, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to support its restaurant team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will deliver food orders safely and promptly, verify order accuracy, and provide friendly service to guests. This role is suited for someone who knows local roads, practices safe driving habits, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver pizza, food orders, and other approved items to guests in a timely manner. Follow assigned routes and use navigation tools to reach delivery destinations. Verify order details and ensure all items are included before leaving the restaurant. Handle food orders carefully to maintain quality and presentation during delivery. Communicate professionally with guests when completing deliveries. Collect payments and provide accurate change when required. Follow traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices at all times. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition. Report vehicle issues, delays, or delivery concerns to the supervisor. Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to manage delivery orders. Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries and payments when required. Assist with restaurant duties during slower delivery periods, as assigned. Requirements Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Reliable transportation and appropriate vehicle insurance if using a personal vehicle. Previous delivery or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with local Philadelphia streets and neighborhoods is helpful. Strong communication and time-management skills. Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude. Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions. Ability to handle food orders carefully and safely. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
