We're looking for a dependable, responsible, and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while representing Village Hoboken throughout the community. Overview The Cannabis Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering customer orders accurately, safely, and efficiently while providing friendly, professional service. This role requires the use of the driver's personal vehicle to complete deliveries throughout our designated service area. Drivers are expected to follow all applicable New Jersey cannabis delivery regulations, verify customer eligibility, maintain accurate delivery records, and handle products and payments according to company procedures. Drivers must provide their own reliable vehicle. Village Hoboken will cover eligible gas and parking expenses incurred while performing job-related duties. Responsibilites Delivery Operations Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to customers within the designated delivery area. Use a personal, reliable vehicle to complete assigned delivery routes. Review orders and delivery details before leaving the dispensary to ensure accuracy. Plan routes efficiently while prioritizing customer service and timely deliveries. Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery updates or delays. Follow all company procedures for order pickup, transportation, delivery confirmation, and order completion. Return to the dispensary as required to complete assigned duties and reconcile orders, payments, and delivery documentation. Compliance & Security Follow all applicable New Jersey cannabis laws, regulations, and company standard operating procedures. Verify customer identification and eligibility in accordance with required procedures before completing deliveries. Maintain the security and integrity of all cannabis products during transportation. Follow all required procedures for order verification, customer signatures or other delivery confirmations, and recordkeeping. Never leave cannabis products unattended or deliver orders to unauthorized individuals or locations. Immediately report discrepancies, delivery issues, security concerns, or suspected compliance violations to management. Maintain confidentiality and protect customer information at all times. Follow company procedures for handling cash, electronic payments, and other approved payment methods. Vehicle & Expense Responsibilities Provide a reliable personal vehicle suitable for completing delivery routes. Maintain a valid driver's license and legally required vehicle registration and insurance. Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and in safe operating condition. Use the vehicle responsibly and obey all traffic laws and parking regulations. Track and submit eligible job-related gas and parking expenses according to company reimbursement procedures. Understand that Village Hoboken covers eligible gas and parking expenses incurred while performing assigned work duties, subject to company policy. Notify management promptly of any vehicle issues that may affect the ability to complete deliveries safely. Customer Service Represent Village Hoboken professionally during every customer interaction. Provide friendly, courteous, and respectful service. Confirm order details and follow established delivery verification procedures. Handle customer questions or concerns professionally and refer issues outside your authority to management.
