Delivery driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes efficiently, and the capability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading of products. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit. Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is beneficial. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools or apps. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations is advantageous. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
