Delivery Driver
Tower Tire Inc.Job Overview Tower Tire is a locally owned wholesale and retail tire shop. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll use company vehicles to deliver tires to our wholesale customers while creating a helpful, friendly experience at every stop. Each driver typically takes a morning and afternoon run each day. Drivers also work every other saturday for the morning run only. Responsibilities Drive delivery vehicles: 2018 GMC Sierra, 2020 Ram Promaster Van, Occasionally a 2022 Ford Econoline Box Truck. Load, transport, and unload Tires; use safe lifting practices when handling heavy items. Drivers are expected to assist in our warehouse when not on the road. This includes Recieving deliveries and Pulling inventory. Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers receive the products they need and make each interaction easier. Requirements Valid PA Drivers Liscense. Demonstrated safe driving ability with an acceptable driving record with no major or excessive violations. Successful candidates will have to pass random drug screenings as a condition of employment. Candidates will have to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Basic math skills to verify orders and quantities broader math skills are helpful. Compensation Starting rates between $15.00 and $18.00 an hour depending on experience. After a probationary period, we offer Health, Vision, Dental, and employee discounts.
