Job Description We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Mount Vernon location on Broadway Street. In this role, you'll be the face of our company, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll combine efficient route management with exceptional customer service, ensuring every delivery is handled with professionalism and care. Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Mount Vernon and surrounding areas Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service while minimizing fuel consumption Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, cleanliness, and safety compliance; report maintenance needs promptly Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition Navigate traffic and weather conditions safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback Maintain organized records and documentation for all deliveries completed during shifts Represent the company professionally and positively in all customer interactions Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery purposes Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background check Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly attitude Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic route planning Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and load packages (up to 50 lbs regularly) Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Preferred: Experience in delivery services, customer-facing roles, or vehicle operation Preferred: Familiarity with mobile delivery applications and digital communication tools Additional Information BENEFITS Flexible Hours Competitive wages Earn tips daily Paid mileage Employee discount on all food items Advancement opportunities Paid Training FULL TIME DRIVERS BENEFITS (in addition to above benefits): Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employment Voluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverage Flexible Spending Accounts Ability to contribute to a 401(k) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
