Independent Delivery Contractor Looking for flexible delivery work without residential deliveries? The Food Runners specializes in deliveries to businesses throughout Orange County and surrounding areas. Independent delivery contractors use their own vehicle to pick up orders from restaurants such as BJ’s, Wahoo’s, CPK and others, then deliver and set up orders at majority corporate offices. What you’ll do Accept delivery opportunities that fit your availability. Pick up catering orders and verify the items at pickup. Deliver orders to corporate offices. Set up catering orders at the delivery location. Use your own vehicle, smartphone and equipment necessary to perform the work. Provide professional, customer-oriented service. Flexibility - Set your own availability and choose the delivery opportunities you want to accept. No requirement to work nights or weekends. Restaurant minimum order size is $75- which increases your potential gratuity on every delivery. Independent Contractor Requirements - Own and operate a vehicle. Current driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance. Good driving record. Smartphone (iPhone or Android). Professional, service-oriented approach. Must be at least 21 years old. Delivery compensation varies by order, route, timing and gratuity. Typical lunch delivery earnings may be approximately $40–$50 for certain delivery opportunities; actual earnings are not guaranteed.
