Delivery Driver
Unity Express PharmacyUnity Express Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, punctual, and friendly Delivery Driver to transport specialty prescription medications safely and efficiently to our patients throughout the local area. Because our medications—including temperature-sensitive eye drops—require precise care and clear delivery protocols, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service right to our patients' doorsteps. Please note: Drivers will use their own personal vehicle for all delivery runs. Key Responsibilities Transport prescription medications safely and on time to residential addresses and local healthcare facilities. Follow specific delivery instructions for every stop (e.g., verifying "Okay to Leave" permissions, managing gate access code procedures, securing physical signatures when required). Contact patients or the pharmacy team promptly if delivery issues arise at a destination. Maintain proper handling procedures for sensitive medical packages, ensuring packages remain secure and temperature-controlled during transit. Review daily delivery routes, complete receipts accurately, and turn in required proof-of-delivery paperwork at the end of each shift. Present a clean, professional, and courteous demeanor as a representative of the pharmacy. Requirements & Qualifications Personal Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle with valid state registration and up-to-date auto insurance coverage. Driver’s License: Active, valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Smart Device: Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation capabilities and cellular data for mapping routes and managing delivery updates. Punctuality & Reliability: Strong time-management skills and commitment to consistent schedules. Communication Skills: Clear, professional verbal communication and a customer-first attitude. Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to hire Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week Work Location: In person
