Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team working for a FedEx independent service provider. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently and safely to customers within designated areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to be an essential part of the logistics and delivery process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to various customer locations. Load and unload parcels, ensuring they are handled with care. Follow assigned routes accurately and efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times. Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required, maintaining accurate records of deliveries made. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency. Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws during deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer needs. Skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. MUST PASS DRUG TEST Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks regularly. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Dependability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following company policies. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their packages promptly and professionally, contributing directly to the success of our delivery operations. Must be available to work weekends. Work hours vary but are usually 9AM-6PM. Pay: From $800.00 per week Benefits: Paid time off Paid training Work Location: In person
