Delivery Truck Driver Position Summary: Position requires to safely Drive DANIEL'S HOME CENTER Delivery trucks, establishes route to deliver products, Loads and unloads merchandise following DANIEL'S safety protocols, Provides Great customer service, and performs the following duties. Position requires loading and unloading merchandise for customer deliveries, store transfers and companies merchandise pick-up and drive a box truck up to 28 feet long. Delivery Driver ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties might be assigned). · Drives truck to deliver home furnishings merchandise to customer’s home of place of business. · Records deliveries information on daily delivery record. · Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pick up or delivery. · Cleans inside of truck. Performs routine maintenance on truck. · Make customer deliveries efficiently and safely. · Inspect merchandise before loading. · Unload merchandise when finish the route. · Load merchandise for store merchandise transfers. · Unload and Loads stores transfers merchandise according to company procedures. · Work independently with minimum supervision under fast pace environment. · Pass DANIEL'S HOME CENTER driving test and provides licenses required. · Responsible for efficient and safe operation of powered lift equipment. Maintain Daniels Home Center work areas clean and organized. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Comply with OSHA standards and company safety procedures using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) always while performing job duties. Assist in all warehouse duties as needed. ANY OTHER TASKS AS DIRECTED BY MANAGEMENT Delivery Driver POSITION QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
