Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles. No CDL required. PHONE CALLS ONLY 770-894-2500 - NO EMAILS Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered. Assist with moving items as required, ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous experience in a courier or delivery driver role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roads is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
