Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, knowledge of route navigation, and a commitment to customer service. The Delivery Driver will operate a variety of vehicles, including delivery vans and box trucks, while ensuring timely deliveries. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and forklifts, to transport goods to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Experience Previous experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred. Valid Drivers License. Experience with warehouse operations, including the use of pallet jacks and forklifts, is advantageous. A background in courier services or moving logistics is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring customer satisfaction.
