Delivery Driver

Job Summary McDermott Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, responsible, and courteous Pharmacy Delivery Driver to deliver prescription medications directly to patients' homes. The driver will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of prescriptions while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Hand-deliver prescription medications to patients at their designated addresses. Obtain patient signatures upon delivery as proof of receipt. Verify delivery information and ensure prescriptions are delivered to the correct recipients. Handle medications responsibly and maintain the security and confidentiality of patient information. Communicate professionally and courteously with patients. Report any unsuccessful deliveries, delays, or delivery-related issues to pharmacy management. Follow all pharmacy delivery procedures and applicable state and federal regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have a reliable and safe driving record. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to interact professionally with patients. Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Previous delivery experience is preferred but not required. Additional Requirements Must follow HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements. Must comply with pharmacy policies and medication delivery procedures. Must demonstrate professionalism and discretion when handling prescription deliveries.
