Job Description We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Decatur location (1948 E. Eldorado St.). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, bringing exceptional service directly to our customers' doorsteps. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries while building positive relationships with our community. Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes throughout the Decatur area Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and on-time arrivals Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with empathy and courtesy Inspect vehicle condition daily, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe driving record Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback Organize and load vehicles efficiently to maximize delivery capacity and minimize handling time Respond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues with a collaborative approach Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for commercial delivery use Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and load packages (up to 50 lbs regularly) Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Clean driving record with no major violations Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Positive attitude, resilience, and goal-oriented mindset Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and responsibility for vehicle upkeep Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to team communication Additional Information BENEFITS Flexible Hours Competitive wages Earn tips daily Paid mileage Employee discount on all food items Advancement opportunities Paid Training FULL TIME DRIVERS BENEFITS (in addition to above benefits): Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employment Voluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverage Flexible Spending Accounts Ability to contribute to a 401(k) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
