Delivery Company Assistant Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our logistics and distribution team. In this vital leadership role, you will help the Hub manager oversee daily operations across transportation, warehouse, and distribution functions, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency. This position will be communicating between drivers, call centers, and oversee drivers responsibilities. Must have excellent computer skills. Spanish speaking is not necessary but would be a plus Duties Assist in managing overall distribution operations, including freight handling, shipping & receiving Supervise warehouse activities such as warehouse operations, incoming trucks, and organizing freight . Montior daily reports from corporate office to keep terminal on time deliveries Scan product upon arrival Help onboard new drivers and maintain effective managerial communication, supervising performance, training, and development initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across distribution channels by analyzing logistics processes and implementing best practices. Skills Proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics management, or operations management within a distribution or transportation environment. Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), inventory control tools, and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of supply chain analytics for distribution strategies. Experience supervising teams with excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
