Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Deli Clerk/Stock Person/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing retail transactions, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. The ideal candidate will be versatile, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) systems Operate cash registers and handle retail sales transactions with professionalism Assist in preparing and serving deli items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively as needed for food preparation or service Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the deli area and stock shelves Follow food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations Restock shelves and display cases to ensure product availability and freshness Support inventory management by receiving deliveries and organizing stock items Provide friendly customer service, addressing inquiries and assisting shoppers as needed Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash register functions accurately Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness and stock organization Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Dependability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
