Dealership Parts Manager

Overview Must have dealership parts manager experience. GM experience preferred. As a Dealership Parts Manager, you’ll keep parts operations moving by coordinating purchasing, sourcing, inventory, and customer service. You’ll work with suppliers, service teams, and customers to ensure the right parts are available and orders are handled accurately. Your impact: Reliable parts availability helps technicians complete automotive service and helps customers get the parts and support they need. Duties Manage inventory, demand planning, pricing, procurement, purchasing, and supplier relationships. Oversee parts administration, order management, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and logistics inventory management. Use inventory management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and AS400 to track parts and support inventory control. Coordinate internal communication and customer service; support sales and resolve order or sourcing issues. Maintain accurate data entry and records using Microsoft Office; follow applicable processes for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Requirements Experience in automotive parts management, supplier management, procurement management, supply chain management, or logistics. Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, automotive service, mechanical systems, and part sourcing. Familiarity with inventory management, warehouse management, demand planning, pricing, negotiation, and order management systems. Ability to support shipping and receiving; forklift experience is useful.
