DC Fleet Manager

Job Description Supervises the operation of a DC fleet terminal which may include one or more switch points. Job Grade 4 Job Tier 2 Career Area Logistics Supervisor Yes Job Qualifications Four years of supervisory experience in logistics and/or transportation. Or Bachelor's degree and two years of supervisory experience in logistics and/or transportation. NPTC certification preferred. Degree (one Of) BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred Major/Minor (one Of) BUSINESS - Preferred SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - Preferred Additional Qualifications/Requirements PCS not authorized/LSP not authorized. Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems) FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS - Required MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - Required Salary Minimum $62,693.00 Major Duties Supervises employees that schedule, plan and coordinate shipments to and from points within the Exchange distribution network. Ensures information is updated and accurate in the dispatch system. Reconciles various reports. Reviews routes to ensure that they are cost effective and viable. Reviews and audits motor vehicle operator logs and receipts. Conducts visits to relays and switch points. Supervises maintenance of fleet equipment and records overages, shortages or damages. Ensures EPA and other regulations are adhered to. Maintains fuel storage tanks according to state and EPA guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
