Day Shift CDL A - Home Daily

We are looking for a Day Shift CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our team! As a CDL-A Truck Driver, your primary objective is to safely transport loads to and from our customer sites, within expected deadlines. Schedule: -Monday to Friday, day shift -Weekends, evening shift. What You Will Do: Comply with applicable local, state, and federal driving laws; including FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and safe driving practices. Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report concerns, and ensure vehicles are in good mechanical and safety condition. Safely transport freight for customers, ensure excellent customer service, ensure route efficiency, and meet scheduled deadlines. Report all incidents and/or damages to the management, immediately. Operate forklift to load and unload materials/parts, verify loads for accuracy, and complete paperwork accordingly. Maintain accurate records/logs of driving hours, inspections, fuel, and tolls, if required and complete and verify paperwork for accuracy. Adhere to our driver, safety, and all other company policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring: A valid, commercial driver’s license; CDL-A, required. 1+ years of experience as a CDL-A Driver. Knowledge of DOT licensing and documentation requirements and follow federal HOS regulations. Ability to work varying hours (e.g., weekends, evenings, etc.) to accommodate operational requirements. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Forklift certification and experience, asset. Interstate driving experience, asset. Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
