POSITION TITLE: Distribution Lead REPORTS TO : Team Leader and Plant Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: Novo Health Services is growing! We are in search of a Soil Sort Team Lead in Atlanta,GA facility. To do that, we provide a positive work environment and opportunities for advancement ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for assisting Production Manager and Plant Leadership in managing/directing the Soil Sort department processes and employee activities according to Standard Operating Procedures. Provide back-up support in the Soil Sort department as needed. Know all soil sort operations, including Standard Operating Procedures and Q.A. functions, and ensure adherence by soil sort personnel to established standards. Train all new distribution employees. Make recommendations to facility management on distribution methods or production standard changes. Assist facility management in employee hiring process and evaluations as needed. Keep accurate records to comply with written Standard Operating Procedures. Assist facility management in scheduling of any testing, validation, etc. Maintain cleanliness of department Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct supervision of all distribution employees. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements: Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting 50 lbs or more. Constant pushing/pulling of laundry carts with weights of 250 lbs is common with some cart weights exceeding 600 lbs. Must be able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift. Work Environment: Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which includes working with and around large machinery, variations in temperature, noise, odors, humidity, lint, dust, chemicals, and other hazards.
