Data Entry (Warehouse)

Summary: The Data Entry Specialist conducts administrative and office activities within the warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring proper paperwork completion, performs data entry (the customer system) This position is involved in resolving count discrepancies, sorting and filing work orders and updating spreadsheets. The Data Entry team member is responsible for keeping their work area safe and clean. Primary Job Duties: Manage flow of orders to be picked. Perform data entry working off multiple spreadsheets. Rectify discrepancies working with schedule and planning. Perform audit of paperwork completion. Assign tags/orders. Work efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost. Understand and follow all ISO and 5S initiatives. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/ skill. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources. Qualifications: Basic personal computer skills. Basic communication skills. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One+ year of experience in Manufacturing/Distribution/3PL environment preferred Job Details: Location: 9000 N University St Peoria, IL 61615 Shift: 1st Shift / 7:00AM - 3:30PM Pay Range: $16 - $17 /HR Job Type: Full Time with Benefits.
