Position Summary
The Data Analyst, Operations is responsible for reporting operational status across the assigned operations to the customer. This role requires a full understanding of the operational flow, strong analytical skills, and the ability to present data effectively (Excel/Spreadsheets). The incumbent will ensure clear communication between the operation and the client, supporting data-driven decision-making
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Analyzes e operational data to monitor performance against KPIs and service goals.
• Prepares and presents recurring operational reports for the customer.
• Maintains deep understanding of warehouse operational flow to provide accurate status updates.
• Collaborates with the Operations team to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks or discrepancies.
• Supports the management team with data-driven insights to optimize space, labor, and equipment utilization.
• Ensures all reporting aligns with client-specific SLAs and quality requirements.
• Serves as the data-focused liaison for the customer, providing timely operational updates and reports.
• Assists in preparing for operational and business review meetings with key customers
Required Skills & Competencies
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Data Analysis preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, data visualization).
Computer Skills:
• Maintains proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to extract and analyze operational data.
• Manages data reporting tools (Excel, spreadsheets) to provide clear, actionable insights to management and clients.
Language Skills
• English Proficient
Mathematical Skills
• Good mathematical skills
Other Skills:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics industry.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.
