- Under limited supervision of the Assistant Dairy Manager, responsible for the operation of the dairy herd to include, but not limited to, milking, breeding, feeding, milk processing, culling, and waste management.
- Responsible for supervision and training of 15+ inmate work force.
- Work hours will fluctuate with rotating days, shifts and holidays and during emergencies.
- Position has been deemed essential by Agriculture Division Director.
- Must complete basic training.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:A high school diploma and experience in farm management.
A bachelor's degree in agriculture may be substituted for the farm experience.
