Job Title: Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counter Job Location: Dayton, Tennessee FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Shift: Monday through Thursday (4x10s) with overtime as needed On-Site position, no virtual or remote work Summary The Inventory Clerk / Cycle Counter 1st shift position is an office hourly position. The Position will report to the Materials Analyst. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including but not limited to: Safety Promote a “Zero Injury” culture Follow all Safety Guidelines Quality Follow Procedures for completion of accurate, timely, duties Learn inventory processes Ask questions of trainer when in doubt Delivery Print Picklist Post Picklist Post inventory transactions from other documentation Post Receiving Schedule Cycle Counts Physically Counting Parts Enter Cycle Counts Results Research and Resolve Discrepancies Assist in PPE Distribution to Staff Stock PPE Cage Cost Utilize time efficiently and effectively – fast pace environment – prioritizing necessary Diligently strive for accuracy in all responsibilities – Errors can result in costly down time within the facility People Utilize effective and professional verbal and written skills with all levels of the organization Continuous Improvement Participate in Kaizen activities for improvement Discuss and recommend process improvements Position Requirements 10 key speed (alpha numeric entry necessary) Excel Word Note: This is a sampling of the requirements/duties and is not intended as an all-inclusive listing.
