Receives and inspects inbound shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with purchase orders; verifies quantities and condition before acceptance. Updates inventory systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) to record receipts and maintain accurate stock levels. Performs material handling tasks, including unloading trucks, staging materials, and transferring items to designated storage or production areas. Conducts cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy; identifies discrepancies and processes nonconforming material according to established procedures. Under direction from management, prevents accumulation of excess or obsolete stock; initiates rework, transfer, or scrap actions as needed. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes safely and in compliance with all safety standards. Coordinates internal material flow, ensuring timely delivery to production lines or cleanroom environments. May monitor, update, and maintain shortage reports including review of work orders. Trains team members on receiving and material handling processes when required. Adheres to documented business processes and safety protocols at all times. Employees may be assigned to work in environments with a heavier focus on inventory management activities. Performs transactions in SAP or other inventory systems. Functional Knowledge Has developed skills to perform day-to-day receiving and material handling activities. Business Expertise Understands how the assigned duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with inventory control, production, and vendor management. Leadership Has no supervisory responsibilities.
